Niantic Labs Blocks Access to Pokemon GO
Pokemon GO was released in Australia and New Zealand today and an APK file quickly spread on the internet. Gamers from the Philippines were able to play the game on their android devices by sideloading the APK.
It was short-lived though. Users who installed the APK are now reporting that all of the locations and pokemons are gone on their devices. It's either the game servers are being updated or Nintendo / Niantic Labs decided to shut their doors on countries not yet authorized to access the game.
Pokemon GO is currently on beta test in several countries such as the United States and Japan.
