No Pokemon Go in the Philippines Yet
IGN reached out to Niantic regarding rumors that the Pokemon Go game will be launching in Southeast Asia today, July 15th.
fortyseven Communications, the agency that represents Niantic, responded with a very depressing email:
"The team is currently heads down working on the game. We do not have any announced plans for countries beyond New Zealand, Australia, US and Germany at the moment."So there you have it. No official Pokemon Go release date yet in the Philippines or territories outside New Zealand, Australia, USA, and Germany. :(
