ASUS Zenfone Selfie Review

My first month with my new phone, The ASUS Zenfone Selfie, has been pretty smooth so far.

I got the phone late in August as a very advanced birthday gift from my mom. I was about to settle for the Samsung J5 from my plan, but my mom said that I should get the phone that I really wanted.

The Zenfone Selfie has 13MP front and back cameras with flash on both sides. It seems like the perfect smartphone for me who likes taking pictures. Mind you, I’m not good at photography. I just like taking pictures.

The camera app has a lot of features. Including 360 degree panorama, panoramic groufies, time lapse, and my favorite: the beautification mode! It’s a good phone to use for those who want to level up their Instagram game.

The phone has dual micro SIM card slots.

Performance-wise, I’m super impressed with the phone. For a mid-range phone, I can play 3D games on it without problems!

The only problem I had with it is that the screen protector made the screen super sensitive to touch. To use the phone, I’d have to set it to “glove mode” at all times. Sure, it reduces usage time by a tiny bit, but it’s not that big of a deal.

On standby, the battery lasts up to 10 hours for me. 4-6, if I’m using it non-stop. It takes about 2 hours for it to fully charge.

Originally, I wanted the Zenfone Selfie Deluxe with the pink shell, but it wasn’t available so I got the original black one.

I’m very happy with this phone and I’m thankful to my mom for gifting it to me.
