New Star Wars BB-8 Toy Follows You Like A Robot Pet

We all remember Sony's AIBO way back in 1999. It became a popular toy among those who needed a robotic pet. Sadly, Sony ended the production of AIBO on 2014. With the popularity of Sphero's BB-8, Spin Master created an almost life-like BB-8 similar to the AIBO that follows you around and makes lots of noises just like in the movie The Force Awakens.

Spin Master's BB-8 ‘speaks’ using the same beeps and whistles used in the The Force Awakens, and reacts in different ways to various words and phrases. When you say “Kylo Ren”, for example, he backs away in fear. It comes with a double joystick controller that uses wireless RF that makes BB-8 autonomously follow anyone carrying that controller around.

You may get one starting on September 1, 2017 for $240 (Php 12,000), when Disney and Lucasfilm release all of the Star Wars: The Last Jedi merchandising.
