Gizmodo have discovered a 2001 controller prototype called GyroPod for Nintendo. It showed a detachable one-handed motion sensing controller from Gyration.
If you are a serious Nintendo fan, you know that Gyration is a company that holds most of the best motion-sensing patents. Nintendo licensed a number of those patents from Gyration in 2001, and brought the company on board that year to develop a one-handed controller. (Nintendo even became an investor in Gyration, which is now owned by Thomson.)

Looking for some nostalgic PC gaming? Then the Buffalo Famicom controller is the answer to all your video game wet dreams. It looks almost exactly like the Family Computer controllers with the added shoulder buttons and two more above the A and B buttons.
The controller is similar to the cheap ones being sold at CDR-King for P100. Features plug and play for Windows XP, Vista, 2000, and Mac. Drivers are included for Windows 98 and ME.

This controller is manufactured by Buffalo in Japan.Labels: accessories, emulator, nintendo, pc, usb

No it's not a Bravestarr game but an accessory for your Nintendo 64 system. The 32X like contraption will allow you to insert and play your Super NES/Super Famicom and NES/Famicom cartridges on your Nintendo 64 console. Think of is as a Super GameBoy on steroids.
The Tristar is not licensed by Nintendo.

Fortune Magazine dissected Nintendo's magical wand to price each of its components.
* Accelerometer: $ 2.50 * Basic Memory Chip: $ 0.25 * Audio Amplifier: $ 0.50 * Data Converter: $ 0.50 * Rumble Pack: $ 2.50 * Bluetooth Chip: $2.00 * Audio Translator: $ 2.00 * Plastic Casing: Unknown * Wrist Strap: Unknown One of its parts, the Audio Translator, is said to be designed and manufactured here in the Philippines.
Audio Translator - converts analog data such as human speech into a digital data stream. This feature is unused not but will probably be employed in future games. Manufactured and design in the Philippines and Japan by Rohm. No one knows what this chip will do on future Nintendo games. I'm betting a "Hey You! Pikachu" sequel. :~)

FYI, this is not the first Nintendo component being manufactured here in the Philippines. Nintendo 64 RF Modulator is also made here. If you still have your RF modulators, check its box or the RF Modulator itself and look for MADE IN THE PHILIPPINES mark.
These markings atleast makes us proud despite the rampant piracy of Nintendo games here.

Xbox 360 owners envious of the PlayStation 3 SIXAXIS and the Wii-mote controllers may have a reason to celebrate with Talismoon's Tilt Board product. Tilt Board gives your Xbox 360 motion sensitive controls similar to the PS3 SIXAXIS. You have to solder 7 wires and I really don't know what games this add-on would really make worth playing with tilt controls.
Umm... how about throwing your controllers to the TV when your Xbox 360 displays the dreaded red rings of death? :~)
