I'm not a fan of Apple Mac but when I saw that Macbook Air , I forgot I was a Microsoft fanboy!. Come on, do you see that thin notebook? Heck, maybe it's as thin as a potato chip! It's like a mammoth trampled over that piece of gadgetry! For a price of $1799 dollars, You'll have on your hands the worlds thinnest notebook! See the pictures after the jump!
No wait! Before Gabriela decides to sue me let me explain what the hell is that titi doing in Korea
more after the jump originally posted on Ryder's Multiply
South Korean teens rejoice as Floral Mobile launched their new mp3 player named the Titi. Sid to be far cheaper than the Ipod Shuffle, the Titi has a 1gb memory and available in different colors. It's price is roughly about $41 and is currently available only in South Korea. But hey who knows, maybe it'll come to our shores. Like Ryder said
Three cellphones pitted against each other to know who among them is the best snapper on their category. Just a reminder guys, these are not the "cream of the crop" line, but the entry level line of models. No Carl Zeiss nor Cybershot here on this review. Just wanted to compare these three fine cellphones against each other and nothing else. Now let's begin: Nokia 6280
Nokia is the dominant brand here in the Philippines and their 2 megapixel camphone is no pushover. The orientation of 6280's camera is similar to a digital camera. You hold the phone horizontally, press the capture button and viola! Instant shots!. You can choose from high, normal or basic image quality. It has a night mode feature, zoom up to 10x (interpolated),can manipulate the white balance and add some effects. Amongst the three, 6280's flash is the best, mimicking the real flash of a digicam. You can store the pictures on a memory (6280 can support up to 2gb of miniSD card)
Pros: Point-and-shoot interface
Cons: Very slow rasterization
Motorola RAZR V3x
Motorola struck gold with their RAZR series and V3x is not an exception. V3x main asset is its very fast startup time and rasterization of pictures, best when you're about to capture that best moment. You won't miss a thing! Also, great for discreetly capturing pictures of beautiful women (boso shots anyone?). Has a 4x digital zoom and you can change the lighting condition and exposures. A light that acts as a flash and you can store pictures in a mircoSD card up to 1gb.
Pros: Fast camera operation
Cons: Weak on poor lighting conditions
Sony Ericsson K750i
The oldest among the three, K750i can prove that quality can stand the test of time. The camera phone which was the predecessor of K800i, Sony Ericsson's Cybershot phone, packs some solid features. K750i's main advantage is its autofocus feature. SE's K line of models main weapon is their camera and K750i is one good example. Like the 6280, you use K750i like a real digital camera, horizontal and all. It's resolution is like a .2 higher than the other 2 (1632x1224).Packs a lot of features like burst mode, panorama mode, frames mode, macro mode, night mode and white balance...Just like a real digital camera. You can save pictures on a memory stick pro duo that supports up to 4gb!!
Pros: Digital camera features
Cons: Autofocus sometimes ruin the shot
Overall: The Sony Ericsson K750i is the winner in terms of image quality and functionality.
After the GPU mumbo jumbo craze set by nVidia and ATI there is a new term to remember if you want a new level of gaming experience, it is called PPU.
It's the next big thing in PC gaming.
A physics processing unit (PPU) is purpose-built to meet the unique requirements of physics algorithms. These represent an environment that's much different than a general purpose processor or graphics processor.
AGEIA PhysX is the first and only physics processor available today to enhance game play physics. The PPU is built to calculate all of the movement and interaction in a game at incredible speeds, so that even the most graphically-sophisticated games can have realistic "cause and effect" actions without degrading performance. They are promoting this new concept in PC gaming, it is called the power triangle
The triangle consists of the central processing unit (CPU), graphics processing unit (GPU) and Physics Processing Unit (PPU) working together to balance the extensive computing demands of game logic, graphics and physics.
At this point, the Accelerator is configured as a PCI 2.1 add-in board with 128MB GDDR3, it add up 30watts in your current power configuration and it will cost around 200-300 usd.
Games that support this new technology are Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six Vegas, Splinter Cell: Double Agent, Gears of War, City of Villains and Unreal Tournament 3, etc.
Looks like one of those cheap MP4 players in Quiapo eh?
UPDATE
"It's the same size screen as the iPhone, but it's even thinner. It's 8mm thin. Unbelievable. The new iPod touch. It's one of the 7 wonders of the world."

Nintendo of Japan just released a new add-on for the Nintendo DS. The device which looks like an optical mouse, plugs directly into the GameBoy Advance slot of the DS. It basically allows you to slide your DS on a flat surface just like a mouse. The device is bundled with a new game called Slide Adventure: Mag Kid.
The DS add-on retails for ¥5,800 (approx Php2,240). Better buy additional Pledge cleaners to remove those table scratches :P Official commercial of the peripheral after the jump
You have to admire the Japanese for their creativity on creating these gadgets. I can't recall the term they use for the weird gadgets like these that are not for sale. Anyway, this USB Necktie Cooler is different and is currently on sale for Y2,980 (approx. Php 1,151.67). I don't know if you'll look cool or look like a dork when you wear one.
