It started out last Saturday as a simple nostalgic trivia between my friend Tonyo and a handful of friends over at Twitter. Then our friends' friends' friends picked it up until everyone was sharing their childhood memories on Twitter. The rules are simple, tweet something nostalgic (90s, 80s, 70s, etc.) and use the hashtag #SentiSabado.

Last week, we learned that Chuckie Dreyfus can literally represent #SentiSabado (hi kuya ^_^) and how ABS-CBN reporter Ryan Chua remembered (when he was in Grade 2, while another ABS-CBN reporter, Jeff Canoy, was in Grade 5) Pia Hontiveros being strapped at a flagpole at PAGASA while reporting in the middle of a storm.

“Nung Sabado namin sinimulan. May mga ilang artista at TV news personalities na kasali na (We started it last Saturday. We have some celebrities and TV News personalities joining),” Cruz tweeted in reply to Yahoo! Southeast Asia’s query on who started this social experiment.

#SentiSabado's theme this week is, "Our wonder years: Flashback to elementary/grade school".

"Today is #sentisabado. Philippine portion of Twitteria is on a "time space warp". To non-Filipinos, allow us to go sentimental today :)," tweeted Tonyo.
