Kana Momonogi Says Goodbye to the AV Industry After 10 Years
Popular AV actress and former Ebisu Muscats 1.5 member Kana Momonogi has officially announced that she is retiring. The big news came through her personal statement, where she revealed that her final work will be released on October 7, 2025.
After a decade in the industry, Kana admitted it was bittersweet to close this chapter of her life. She shared how proud she was to achieve one of her biggest goals, which was staying as an exclusive talent under Idea Pocket for 10 years. For her, those years were filled with valuable encounters, experiences, and unwavering support from fans.
But this isn’t the end of her journey. Kana made it clear that she will continue to be active in a new form as simply “Kana Momonogi.” She plans to keep updating her social media accounts and promised more announcements in the future, reassuring fans that she won’t completely disappear from the spotlight.
Her career has been nothing short of colorful. Aside from being a beloved AV actress, she was also a singer and a founding member of the idol group Ebisu Muscats 1.5 until their disbandment in 2023. Gamers may also remember her cameo appearances as a cabaret girl in the Yakuza video game series, where she played a character known for her big appetite.
Kana first appeared in 2015 under the name Maasa Matsushima before reintroducing herself as Kana Momonogi later that same year, marking the true beginning of her AV career. Since then, she has built a name that fans in Japan and abroad continue to admire.
