Ayumi Kinoshita - Deka Yellow

I know most of you grew to love the Super Sentai series from Japan when we were kids. Before Power Rangers, there were Bioman, Maskman, Fiveman, and more. Unfortunately, most of the newer Super Sentai series shown here today are just Power Rangers spin-offs. Kinda cheesy, if you ask me.

I’m starting a new mini-series here at GameOPS featuring the beautiful girls who have starred in Super Sentai shows. For our first salvo, let me introduce my favorite Super Sentai girl — Ayumi Kinoshita of Dekaranger.

According to her Wikipedia profile, Ayumi Kinoshita (木下 あゆ美, born December 13, 1982) is a Japanese actress and model who has appeared in many Japanese commercials. She is best known for her role as Jasmine/DekaYellow in Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger. She has also been involved in the Guilty Gear franchise, including a video tutorial appearance. Alongside Mika Kikuchi, she performed the second ending theme of Dekaranger, titled “Girls in Trouble!” Additionally, she wrote the lyrics for Jasmine’s character theme, “Hard Rain.” Kinoshita also appeared in short videos featured in the Solid Eye Theatre of Metal Gear Acid 2.

Her most recent work is the film Master of Thunder (マスターオブサンダー), an action movie where she plays one of seven pupils of a martial artist.

Ayumi can also sing. She sang one of the closing themes of Dekaranger with fellow cast member Mika Kikuchi.
