GCash Makes Food Ordering Easier with Food Hub

Ordering your favorite meals just got easier, thanks to GCash. The widely-used mobile wallet has rolled out a new feature that lets users order food directly from its app. Whether you're craving delivery, prefer to pick up your meal, or want to dine in, it's all now possible with just a few taps through GCash's Food Hub.

This new update comes from a collaboration with Tablevibe, a Singapore-based tech company that works with more than 4,000 restaurants across the Philippines. Big names like The Bistro Group, Kenny Rogers, Andok’s, Pickup Coffee, Chooks-to-Go, and 24 Chicken are already onboard.

What makes it better is the promise of exclusive deals and discounts when you order through the platform. It's not just about convenience, it's about getting value, too.

Another cool addition is the new “scan-to-order” feature. Dine-in customers can now skip the lines and browse menus, place orders, and pay their bills simply by scanning a QR code on their table. This doesn't just make life easier for customers, it also helps restaurants streamline their operations and speed up service.

GCash President and CEO Oscar Reyes Jr. explained that the move aims to support businesses while providing users with a more seamless experience. Tablevibe's leadership also pointed out that the system allows restaurants to boost sales and improve customer satisfaction without the heavy costs that often come with third-party delivery platforms.

What started as just a simple digital wallet has grown into an all-in-one app offering financial services like bill payments, money transfers, investments, loans, and insurance. Now with food ordering added to the mix, GCash continues to evolve into a true lifestyle partner for millions of Filipinos.

With their ongoing partnership with Visa, GCash users can also pay at over 100 million merchants in 200 countries and territories. Adding food ordering to its services makes the app even more useful for everyday needs.
