Follow-up to what might the Nokia's iPhone killer phone will look like, Sorry guys, still no info yet. UPDATE: Nokia has confirmed that this demo is strictly for the UI, not the device: the hardware is not real and the LCD's images are overlaid.
This is possibly the first iPhone in the Philippines to work on a local network. We earlier posted a link to the procedure to clone your current SIM card to work with the Apple iPhone and apparently, the method works!
So if you have some spare 35,000 pesos, head over to Yugatech's blog and order one. We're also accepting iPhone gifts :~)
Think of getting the P35,000 iPhone? Then this procedure "might" enable the iPhone to work with Globe Telecoms or Smart Communications.

Even retro gaming pushes the limits of technology. The iPhone isn't supposed to support third-party client apps, much less third-party games. That's why this open-source iPhone NES emulator is just so damn cool. It even takes advantage of the iPhone's large multitouchscreen to include a classic NES joypad. It still has control issues and lacks audio, but it's a promising little work in progress.
After the Nintendo Mobile Phone patents, Nintendo has apparently began working with Apple and licensed some games to the new Apple iPhone. According to NoHeat, the games will be available at the iTunes Store at a retail price of US$29.00 each.
The iPhone is cool, but still lacks some functions like 3G capabilities and other features that the Filipinos used to love with their Nokias. Still no word yet if the iPhone would make it to Philippine shores.
