DTI Launches AI Chatbot to Make Business Transactions Easier
Businesses across the Philippines now have a new digital buddy to make paperwork and licensing faster and simpler. The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) just introduced an artificial intelligence chatbot that works around the clock to help business owners with their questions and transactions.
This new tool is part of the government’s push to make things more efficient and less stressful for entrepreneurs. DTI Secretary Cristina Roque shared that the chatbot supports the 'Bagong Pilipinas' goal by using technology to cut down on long lines, slow processes, and endless email follow-ups.
Instead of waiting at a DTI office or sending multiple emails, business owners can now get instant answers online. The chatbot lives on the DTI’s Integrated Registration Information System site and is always ready to assist, day or night.
By making business registration and accreditation faster, the DTI hopes to encourage more people to open businesses and help the economy grow steadily. For anyone who wants to try it out, just visit https://iregis.dti.gov.ph/ and chat away.
This move shows that technology can really change how government offices serve the public. Hopefully, more agencies will follow DTI’s example soon.
