From Comment to Billboard: How Acer Made SB19 Fans' Dream Come True
Sometimes, a simple comment can spark something big, and that's exactly what happened when a fan jokingly asked Acer Philippines to "make it bigger" after seeing a blurry photo of SB19 on Facebook. What started as a casual request quickly turned into a full-blown fan celebration.
It all began under the #AcerCampus2025 campaign. A fan commented on Acer’s Facebook cover photo featuring SB19, saying the image was too small and blurry to appreciate. The playful complaint caught Acer’s attention, and their cheeky response, “Sige ipapa-billboard natin,” turned out to be more than just talk.
Within days, Acer made good on that promise by putting up a giant billboard of SB19 right along EDSA, one of the busiest roads in Metro Manila. But they didn’t stop there. Fans got another surprise when Acer revealed a full SB19-themed LRT Line 2 train wrap, making daily commutes a little more exciting for A’TIN.
According to Acer Philippines Senior Marketing Manager Princess Laosantos, this was all about meeting the passion of SB19's fans with the same level of energy. The group represents the spirit of the brand, and Acer wanted to show how much it values both its ambassadors and the community that supports them.
The campaign behind all this fun, #AcerCampus2025, runs until July 13, 2025. It includes discounts of up to ₱20,000 on select laptops and up to ₱10,000 in eGift rewards, perfect for students and fans alike.
With Acer’s witty and heartfelt move, they’ve once again proven how a brand can connect meaningfully with a community, especially when it’s powered by shared passion.
