Infinix GT 30 Pro Named Official Tournament Phone for MPL Season 16

The energy was off the charts during the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Season 15 Playoffs Grand Finals, and Infinix made sure fans had more to cheer for than just epic matches. The tech brand brought in a wave of excitement with live activities, exclusive giveaways, and most notably, the public debut of its newest gaming powerhouse, the Infinix GT 30 Pro. Now officially announced as the tournament phone for the upcoming MPL Season 16, the GT 30 Pro is shaping up to be a serious contender in mobile gaming.

Before the big announcement, Infinix made its presence felt by honoring standout talents in the MPL through the MPL Alamat Awards. Top-performing players were celebrated with gifts like the GT 20 Pro, while the Most Improved Player took home a next-gen Concept Gaming Phone from Infinix. These awards weren’t just about recognition; they were a reminder that Infinix is fully behind the growth of Philippine esports.

Of course, the spotlight wasn’t only on pros. Fans had their moment too through the returning FANSiklaban battles, where community teams showed off their skills. Visitors also got to try out the GT 30 Pro at the Infinix Experience Booth, play mini-games, and win exclusive merchandise. There was no shortage of entertainment either, thanks to performances from MNL48 and an appearance by gamer and streamer Chacha Pega.

The Grand Finals came to a thrilling close with Team Liquid Philippines (TLPH) taking the championship crown. Each player was rewarded with a complete GT Champion Set, including a GT 30 Pro, a custom GT AI Ring, and a slick GT Champion Jacket. It was a proud moment for the team, and a bold statement by Infinix that it’s ready to lead in mobile gaming tech.

But perhaps the most touching part of the event was the launch of a new award called MGT (My Greatest Teammate). This one didn’t rely on stats or flashy plays. Teammates secretly voted for the player who made the biggest impact behind the scenes. That honor went to Alston “Sanji” Pabico, proving that leadership and heart matter just as much as mechanical skill.

Looking ahead, Infinix is not just content with showcasing its devices at events, it’s actively investing in the future of gaming. With initiatives like the Infinix Campus Cup (XCC) and continued MPL support, the brand is positioning itself as a true partner for both pro players and rising stars.

The GT 30 Pro is expected to hit the Philippine market this June. If the buzz from the finals is any sign, it’s going to be a hot pick for mobile gamers craving reliable performance and immersive gameplay. Whether you're a casual player, a competitive warrior, or just a fan of cutting-edge tech, Infinix is clearly aiming to be your go-to gaming companion.
