Poco F7 Launches in the Philippines with Flagship Features at a Midrange Price
POCO has officially brought the base model of its F7 series to the Philippines, joining the earlier-released F7 Pro and F7 Ultra. While it may be labeled as the “base” variant, there’s nothing basic about this smartphone. In fact, it’s packed with high-performance specs that gamers and heavy users will definitely appreciate.
At its core is the powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, backed by 12GB of RAM and an all-big-core CPU architecture. This setup delivers fast, efficient performance, especially during intensive tasks like gaming, multitasking, or editing media. To handle high-res graphics, it’s paired with an Adreno GPU and WildBoost Optimization 4.0, which supports up to 1.5K Super Resolution.
Gaming gets another boost thanks to Smart Frame Rate technology, which pushes gameplay up to 120FPS, ensuring smooth visuals across today’s demanding mobile titles.
The display is also a highlight. The POCO F7 features a 6.83-inch AMOLED screen with a sharp 2772 x 1280 resolution and an impressive peak brightness of 3,200 nits. With TÃœV Rheinland certifications and enhanced eye comfort features, it’s built for long hours of use without straining your vision.
To keep the device cool under pressure, POCO integrated a 6000mm² 3D Dual-Channel IceLoop cooling system. Housed in an aluminum frame, this is the brand’s largest Loop Heat Pipe yet. It also comes with an IP68 rating, meaning it can handle dust and splashes without issue.
On the camera front, users get a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor with OIS, along with an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 20MP front camera. Whether you're shooting landscapes, portraits, or selfies, the phone is ready to deliver. Features like UltraSnap, Live Photo, and AI Beautify add creative flexibility while keeping shots natural-looking.
Battery life won’t be a concern either. With a 6,500mAh battery and 90W HyperCharge, the F7 can reach 80% in just 30 minutes. It even supports reverse charging at 22.5W, useful for powering up other devices on the go.
The device runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2, and comes in two configurations:
- 12GB + 256GB for P23,999
- 12GB + 512GB for P25,999
Color options include White, Black, and the futuristic-looking Cyber Silver Edition.
During the virtual launch on June 24, POCO’s Head of Product Marketing, Angus Ng, highlighted the brand’s mission: “With the POCO F7, we’re advancing our commitment to redefine flagship performance by making it accessible to a wider audience.”
Early buyers can take advantage of special preorder prices via Shopee until June 30, with the 256GB variant going for just P17,499 and the 512GB version for P19,499. Buyers can also use vouchers worth up to P2,000, and payment options like SPayLater and COD are available through POCO’s official Shopee store.
