Samsung Teases the Arrival of the Sleek Galaxy Fold7 Ultra
After months of rumors, Samsung has finally dropped its first official teaser for the much-anticipated Galaxy Fold7 Ultra. While the company didn’t go into full detail, the teaser confirms that the Ultra version is indeed on the way and will be joining the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 lineup, including the more affordable Flip7 FE. All of these are expected to be launched during a live event in New York this coming July.
The teaser gives us a glimpse of the Fold7 Ultra’s profile, and it’s impressively thin. While Samsung hasn’t shared the exact dimensions yet, it’s expected to be even slimmer than last year’s Z Fold6, which unfolded to 5.6mm, and the Z Fold Special Edition, which went down to 4.9mm. That means we could be seeing one of the slimmest foldables ever released by the brand.
Another exciting detail from the teaser? Samsung is aiming for the top when it comes to mobile photography. The Ultra model is being promoted as having the “best-in-class” camera setup. That’s a bold claim, especially when compared to the likes of the vivo X Fold3 Pro, which has already received praise for its camera performance.
For those following Samsung’s foldable releases, the idea of an Ultra variant isn’t new. In fact, many expected the Fold6 Ultra to launch last year, but it never happened. Instead, Samsung released a special edition in South Korea, known as the W25 in China. That device featured larger screens (8-inch main and 6.5-inch cover), a massive 200MP main camera, and 16GB of RAM, all packed into an impressively thin and lightweight body.
Now, it seems Samsung is finally ready to bring the Ultra to global markets. With an even thinner profile and promises of camera excellence, the Fold7 Ultra could be a major game-changer for foldable phone fans.
