Lisa from BLACKPINK Joins PlayStation in Stylish New PS5 Campaign

K-pop meets console gaming in the latest PlayStation collab, and honestly, it’s a match made in pop culture heaven. BLACKPINK’s Lisa is now officially part of the PlayStation family, starring in a stunning new commercial that dropped on July 1, surprising fans and gamers alike.

In the commercial, Lalisa Manobal is seen enjoying her favorite PS5 titles, including Astro Bot, which won Game of the Year in 2024. Backed by her track “Lifestyle” from her 2025 album Alter Ego, the ad blends Sony’s iconic game visuals with Lisa’s signature charisma. For fans, it’s the ultimate crossover.

Although the commercial runs just about a minute, it's packed with familiar PlayStation moments. Scenes from Bungie’s Marathon, Helldivers 2, and of course Astro Bot flash across the screen as Lisa immerses herself in gaming. Interestingly, sharp-eyed fans believe this collab was teased months ago when Lisa was spotted playing Helldivers 2 in her “FUTW” music video earlier this year.

This isn’t Lisa’s first foray into the gaming scene. Back in 2020, she melted hearts when she played Animal Crossing: New Horizons on YouTube. She even showed off her island and an adorable character avatar. So yes, Lisa’s love for games is definitely legit.

The buzz online? Instant and massive. BLINKs and gamers filled comment sections with love. “This collab is iconic,” one wrote. “My two worlds just collided,” said another. It’s no surprise, the BLACKPINK rapper has over 106 million followers on Instagram, and her influence stretches far beyond the stage.

For PlayStation, this marks their second major celeb collab of 2025. Earlier this year, they teamed up with Finn Wolfhard from Stranger Things for their “No Play Limits” campaign. But this Lisa team-up? It might just be the biggest flex yet.

Sure, a few hardcore gamers have raised eyebrows, questioning the move. But honestly, more visibility for gaming, especially among global pop fans, is a win. Lisa brings new energy to the scene, and if it helps introduce more people to the world of PlayStation, that’s something worth celebrating.
