Wild Rift Turns 5 With a Musical Surprise Featuring aespa's NINGNING

League of Legends: Wild Rift is marking a huge milestone this year as it celebrates five years since the global launch of the mobile MOBA that won the hearts of gamers around the world. To make the celebration feel extra special, Riot Games teamed up with NINGNING from the popular K pop group aespa for a brand new song titled Miss This Life.

The track brings an energetic electro pop sound. According to Riot, the song reflects the personal journey of players, from school days to young adulthood. It also connects to the stories of the champions we love to use in game, reminding us how both the players and the game have grown together over the years. Fans can look forward to hearing Miss This Life in game and on major streaming platforms. A music video will also showcase some nostalgic champion highlights that long time players will definitely enjoy.

Of course, a major anniversary would not be complete without new content. Nidalee, one of the iconic champions from the PC version of League of Legends, is finally joining Wild Rift. Players who love jungle action and fast paced playstyles will enjoy having her on the roster. The updated AAARAM mode also arrives with fresh Augments influenced by pro play to make matches even more unpredictable.

Wild Rift's community continues to be a big part of the game's success. The grassroots competition series Wild Rounds, now called SMASH, has expanded to more than 20 regions with thousands of participants. The next event will take place in Vietnam from November 14 to 16, showing how alive and thriving the player scene still is.

Riot Games shared that Wild Rift has become a space where stories and friendships are formed. The game keeps evolving, and this 5th anniversary is a reminder of how far players have come together. With more surprises surely on the way, the best years of Wild Rift might still be ahead.
