Kapamilya Channel Comes to ALLTV Starting January 2
ABS-CBN fans have reason to celebrate as the Kapamilya Channel will soon be available on ALLTV. Advanced Media Broadcasting System Inc. (AMBS), the owner of ALLTV, has secured a licensing agreement with ABS-CBN to broadcast the channel starting January 2, 2026.
Viewers can look forward to catching their favorite shows, including FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, Roja, What Lies Beneath, as well as variety and news programs like It’s Showtime, ASAP, and TV Patrol. While many programs will now air on ALLTV, select shows will continue on A2Z, and some, such as It’s Showtime and Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab 2.0, will be broadcast on GMA.
This move comes after TV5 decided to end its content agreement with ABS-CBN, effective the same date. ABS-CBN has already settled obligations with TV5 and MediaQuest, and expressed gratitude to TV5 and Mr. Manny V. Pangilinan for hosting ABS-CBN programs since 2021.
The new agreement with AMBS is notable given history. ABS-CBN previously operated on frequencies now used by ALLTV, until the previous Duterte administration blocked the renewal of the network’s franchise, effectively shutting down all of its free-to-air broadcasts in 2020. Since 2024, AMBS has partnered with ABS-CBN to air selected programs, including iconic shows from Jeepney TV, as well as It’s Showtime and TV Patrol.
ABS-CBN and AMBS say this partnership is part of their continued commitment to bring stories, news, and entertainment that inspire, uplift, and entertain Filipino families nationwide.
