"Neko Atsume no Ie" Movie
I know many cat lovers who will get excited over this news -- Neko Atsume, the mobile game by Hit-Point, will have a movie!
Titled "Neko Atsume no Ie," the movie stars Atsushi Ito who I will always remember as the He's the otaku from Densha Otoko (how nostalgic!). I'm curious how this movie will go. Though I'm a dog lover, I still played the game because of the cuteness overload, so I will definitely watch the movie if possible.

Neko Atsume no Ie also stars Shiori Kutsuna and Tomorowo Taguchi (Akihabara@DEEP, GANTZ). The movie will hit Japan cinemas on April 8, 2017. There's no news at the moment if this will be shown outside Japan.

Masaru Sakumoto (Atsushi Ito) is a best selling novelist, but, recently, he has been unable to write. To turn over a new leaf, he moves to a house. Things though do not get better. One day, while Masaru looks at his yard, a cat comes over. Masaru talks to the cat, but the cat leaves. At night, Masaru places dried food out in the yard and falls asleep. The next morning, he finds that the food is gone. Masaru begins interacting with cats that come to his yard.
