PSN Sale: 50% off on Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix!
People who log into a North American PSN account will probably have heard of the Spring Fever sale that Sony has every week. About a week or two ago, I was able to buy Pixel Junk’s latest PSN game, Shooter, for only $5.00. It’s the best Pixel Junk game so far (expect a review when I get through with it). Unfortunately, it’s not on sale anymore. The good news is, PSN’s Spring Fever is now celebrating “Street Fighter Week” by knocking down the price of Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix from $14.99 to $7.49 (340 Pesos)! That’s a steal!
For those of you who don’t have a North American credit card or access to a NA PSN network cards, don’t worry, there’s a way to put money in your PSN wallet. You can do so through Maximus Cards. They charge a bit of a premium for the service, but I think it's well worth it. $10 cards are sold at $12.49, $20 cards for $24.95, and $50 cards can be bought at $58.95. You can also buy Wii Points and Xbox Live codes.
(Note: To get Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, you need to buy a US PSN Card)
To use Maximus Cards, you need a gmail account and a credit card (US credit card not required). After you make your order online, the code to redeem your credits will instantly be sent to you via email. I’ve personally used Maximus Cards a few times and I can say that it works really well.
Caution! US PSN Cards only work for US PSN Accounts! If you are using a Canadian PSN account, despite being in the North American region, the code will not work! But that’s okay. Just make a US account if you don’t have one (like me). Then download the game on that US account. You can play it on any of your profiles on your PS3 even if it isn’t connected to a US PSN account.
By the way, if you’re going to use Maximus Cards, please use the links I’ve placed on this post. I get a referral points for it. Just think of it as a way of saying thank you. Hehe.
Would these work with PS3?
ReplyDeleteYes, this is for the PS3 version. PSN is the PlayStation Network. Sorry I didn't make that clear.
