Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi Is Back and Better Than Ever!

The Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi series is making a triumphant return! Fans of the franchise have been eagerly awaiting this news, and it looks like it was worth the wait. During a special event, it was announced that a new Budokai Tenkaichi game is currently in early production. While there is no word on a release date just yet, we do know that Super Saiyan Blue Goku will be making an appearance in this latest installment.

For those who are new to the Budokai Tenkaichi series, it was a massive departure from the traditional fighting game style of the earlier Dragon Ball games. Instead, Budokai Tenkaichi expanded the gameplay into a full arena fighter. The games also boasted a huge roster of characters, both big and small, and the third game even had 98 characters with over 160 transformations available.

It's been 16 years since the last Budokai Tenkaichi game was released, so it's exciting to see this series return. While Dragon Ball Xenoverse had a similar gameplay style, it seems that this new title will offer something fresh and updated.
