Asus ROG Ally: Rumored Price and Specs for Asus' Upcoming Steam Deck Competitor

Asus has been teasing its upcoming Steam Deck competitor, the ROG Ally, for a while now. The device got an initial announcement on April 1, which left many skeptical, but it's now confirmed as a real product that's coming soon to global markets. If you're eagerly awaiting its release, you may be curious about its rumored price and specs.

According to multiple sources, the higher-end version of the ROG Ally is expected to cost $699.99. It features an AMD Z1 Extreme chip, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD, making it slightly more expensive than the 512GB Steam Deck. However, the price of the entry-level model with the Z1 non-Extreme is still unknown.

The ROG Ally boasts a 7" FHD 120 Hz screen with Gorilla Glass DXC on top, measuring 11.02" by 4.37" by 0.83" (279.9 x 110.9 x 21 mm) and weighing 608g. It also comes with an M.2 2230 SSD that's upgradeable with a single screw. The device's battery can charge from 0 to 50% in just 30 minutes using the bundled 65W USB-C power brick.

If you're a fan of Asus products and are in the market for a new gaming device, the ROG Ally may be worth keeping an eye on. With its powerful specs and competitive price point, it's shaping up to be a serious contender in the gaming industry.
