Globe Launches GFiber Prepaid Fiber Internet Service for the Mass Market

In a move to cater to the needs of a broader customer base, Globe Telecom has introduced its new prepaid fiber internet service called GFiber Prepaid. With a focus on affordability and convenience, this offering is designed to make high-speed internet accessible to the mass market.

GFiber Prepaid stands out with its flexible options and pay-per-use promos, allowing users to enjoy unlimited internet without being tied to any lock-up period. Additionally, Globe has collaborated with GCash to provide a buy-now-pay-later feature, enabling users to manage their payments seamlessly.

To make the service even more attractive, GFiber Prepaid comes with an introductory one-time fee of only P1,499, which includes installation and 7 days of unlimited internet usage. Prepaid loads start at P299, providing customers with 7 days of uninterrupted connectivity.

Applying for GFiber Prepaid is a breeze through the GlobeOne app, offering a user-friendly and streamlined experience. Furthermore, customers have the convenience of paying installation fees using popular digital payment platforms such as GCash, GGives, and GCredit.

Raymond Policarpio, Vice President of Globe at Home Broadband Business, emphasized the versatility of GFiber Prepaid, stating, "Whether you need it for work, education, or starting an online business, GFiber Prepaid is here to facilitate your leap towards digital empowerment, all while fitting within your budget."

Globe aims to make this service available nationwide, ensuring that as many people as possible can benefit from it, subject to serviceability in specific areas.

In a similar endeavor, Converge ICT, another prominent internet service provider, recently launched its own prepaid fiber service. The objective of their offering is to cater to consumers who find it challenging to afford monthly postpaid plans.

With the introduction of GFiber Prepaid, Globe Telecom takes a significant step towards bridging the digital divide. By providing affordable and accessible high-speed internet connectivity to the mass market, they empower individuals and businesses alike to thrive in today's digital landscape.
