JoyRide Unveils Super Taxi Service in the Philippines

 

In a move inspired by Japan's renowned JPN Taxi, JoyRide Ecommerce Technologies Corp. has recently rolled out its latest venture—the "Super Taxi" service. This innovative taxi experience is geared towards elevating passenger comfort, convenience, and safety.

During the launch event in Antipolo City, JoyRide showcased the unique features of the Super Taxi, emphasizing its commitment to providing a top-notch commuting experience. Passengers have the option to hail the Super Taxi directly on the streets or conveniently book a ride through the user-friendly JoyRide app.

Despite the premium amenities offered by the Super Taxi, JoyRide assures commuters that the rates remain consistent with those of regular metered taxis. Noli Eala, JoyRide's senior vice president for Corporate Affairs, highlighted that the initial deployment will include 25 units in Metro Manila, with plans to expand the fleet in the coming year.

Eala emphasized, "The public can enjoy all these features of JoyRide Super Taxi without any fare increase, as the service will still be classified as a regular metered taxi or what we call 'De-Metrong Kasundo.'"

Since its establishment in December 2019, JoyRide has experienced significant growth, boasting over five million app downloads and a vast network of more than 30,000 two-wheeled and four-wheeled driver-partners across key areas like Metro Manila, Rizal, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Cebu, and Baguio City. Excitingly, the company has plans to extend its services to Pampanga and Ilocos Norte in the near future, marking another milestone in its mission to revolutionize the local transportation industry.
