Spotify’s AI Playlist Tool Is Now in the Philippines for Premium Users
Spotify just made creating playlists way more fun and easier for Premium users in the Philippines. The music app has rolled out its AI Playlist feature locally, letting you generate super specific and personalized playlists using just a prompt.
This new tool is currently in beta and was first tested in countries like the UK and Australia. Since then, millions of users have already tried it out, crafting playlists for all kinds of moods and moments. Now, Filipino users can finally join in and experience this creative way to discover and enjoy music.
The cool part? You don’t need to spend hours picking songs one by one. With AI Playlist, you just type in a detailed prompt like “chill music for late-night study sessions” or “90s pop songs for cleaning the house”, and Spotify handles the rest. It chooses tracks that match the vibe you’re going for, based on your preferences in genres, artists, and listening habits.
To use it, open the Spotify app on your phone, go to the search bar, and type “AI Playlist.” You can either pick a prompt from the suggestions or come up with your own creative idea. The more specific and imaginative, the better. Spotify says that combining moods, artists, or genres in your prompt usually gives the best results.
Want to go even further? Try referencing movie characters, colors, activities, or even using emojis. You can tweak the prompt too if you want to fine-tune the playlist.
Playlist-making has always been part of the Spotify experience, but this AI twist adds a fresh layer of creativity and convenience. Whether you're curating a soundtrack for your weekend trip or just want something to match your feels, this new feature is a game changer.
