ASUS Brings New WiFi 7 Gaming and Home Routers to the Philippines
ASUS is stepping up its game in the Philippines with the introduction of three brand-new WiFi 7 routers designed for both power users and everyday households. During a recent launch event that doubled as a screening for an upcoming F1 movie, the tech brand unveiled two new ROG Strix models, the GS-BE18000 and the GS-BE7200X, alongside the ASUS RT-BE50.
At the heart of this new lineup is WiFi 7, the latest wireless standard that promises lightning-fast speeds and better performance even when multiple devices are connected. This makes them ideal for smart homes, gamers, and work-from-home users who can’t afford to deal with lag or dead zones.
The ROG Strix GS-BE18000 is clearly aimed at gamers, boasting a blazing-fast 18,000 Mbps speed with 320 MHz channel support. It also features strong signal coverage, reaching up to 3,300 square feet, enough to eliminate most dead spots in the house. Then there’s the GS-BE7200X, which offers 7,200 Mbps and dual-band capability for users who need reliable speed without the ultra-high-end specs.
On the more practical side is the ASUS RT-BE50, which delivers up to 3,600 Mbps and is built for mixed usage, whether you're gaming, streaming movies, or doing Zoom calls. It’s a solid choice for families or small home offices looking to future-proof their internet setup.
All three routers are powered by high-performance chipsets and include multi-link operation (MLO), a WiFi 7 feature that allows devices to connect to multiple bands at once, reducing interference and boosting overall efficiency. Internal or external antennas, USB ports, and multiple LAN slots round out the hardware, depending on the model.
These routers are expected to hit the Philippine market by Q3 2025. While ASUS hasn’t announced the official pricing just yet, early buyers can look forward to a limited-time promo: purchasing select routers will give customers a chance to win prizes like another ASUS WiFi 7 router, an Apple Watch SE2, or even an iPad 10.
For those already planning their next home network upgrade, keep an eye on ASUS’ website for more details and the latest availability updates.
