Pokémon Pokopia Free Trial Events Coming to Manila This April 2026
Fans in the Philippines will soon get an early hands-on experience with the upcoming game Pokémon Pokopia, as a series of free trial events is set to take place in Manila this April 2026.
Organized by The Pokémon Company, the four-day event gives players a chance to try out the cozy sandbox adventure before its full release on Nintendo Switch 2. The game focuses on a relaxed, slow-life experience where players can build, explore, and interact with different Pokémon in a creative open world.
Instead of traditional battles, the gameplay centers on everyday activities like helping Pokémon, crafting spaces, and shaping the environment. Visitors at the event will be able to try these features firsthand using official demo stations powered by the latest Nintendo Switch 2 hardware.
Each session lasts around 20 minutes, and staff members will be on-site to assist beginners and guide players through the controls. Even those who are not familiar with gaming or Pokémon are welcome to join the experience.
To make the visit more exciting, participants who complete the demo will receive a random Pokémon Pokopia sticker set. These collectibles come in three variations, adding a surprise element for attendees.
Guests will also get a chance to receive special Pokémon-themed sun visors, featuring designs such as Pikachu, Ditto, and a unique “Peakychu” variant. These giveaways will be available while supplies last.
The event will also feature dedicated demo stations and a photo area where fans can take pictures with Pokémon-inspired displays and characters like Professor Tangrowth, Mosslax, and Peakychu. The setup is designed to be interactive and highly shareable for social media.
The free trial events will be held at the following locations:
- April 11 to 12, 2026: Ayala Malls Trinoma
- April 18 to 19, 2026: Ayala Malls Manila Bay
- Time: 12:00 NN to 8:00 PM
- Last entry for lines: around 7:45 PM
Schedules may change depending on on-site conditions.
For fans planning to get the game early, a special bonus is also being offered for physical purchases of Pokémon Pokopia. Buyers will receive a Ditto-themed smartphone cleaner keychain with Pikachu and Ditto charms, which can also be used as a screen cleaner accessory.
The offer is available in limited quantities starting March 5, 2026, and applies only to physical copies of the game.
