The company confirms that it will develop games based on the popular anime.

Infogrames has confirmed it has licensed the Dragon Ball Z property from FUNimation Productions to develop multiple games for current and next-generation platforms. Popular Dragon Ball Z characters such as Goku, Piccolo, and Gohan will be prominently featured in the upcoming games. The first games under the agreement will be announced at a later date.

"We are extremely pleased to partner with FUNimation to bring Dragon Ball Z to video game fans," said Paul Rinde, senior vice president and general manager of Infogrames' WizardWorks division. "Dragon Ball Z is a favorite among millions of kids and is one of the most highly searched topics on Lycos. We're confident we can bring the characters into a new medium for its growing fan base to enjoy."
