PLDT Home Launches New Prepaid Fiber Internet Plans for Budget-Savvy Filipinos

PLDT Home is making it easier for Filipino households to enjoy unlimited fiber internet without the usual commitment. Their new prepaid fiber offer gives families access to fast and stable internet at prices that won’t break the bank.

For a long time, fiber internet was mostly tied to postpaid plans with monthly bills and lock-in contracts. This setup didn’t work for everyone, especially for households with changing budgets. Seeing this, PLDT Home rolled out Fiber Prepaid, giving families the freedom to pay only when they need it.

For just about 23 pesos a day, users can get speeds of up to 50 Mbps with no data cap. This is great news for those who need to study online, work from home, stream HD videos, or connect several gadgets at once.

Loading options are flexible too. If you just need internet for a day, load up P50. For a week, spend P199. If you want to secure it for half a month, pay P399, or go for a full 30 days at P699. All options promise the same unlimited fiber speed.

Getting started is simple and affordable. New subscribers pay a one-time setup fee of P999 which comes with a free week of unlimited fiber.

With this move, PLDT joins the likes of Converge’s Surf2Sawa and Globe’s GFiber Prepaid, both offering similar speeds at around P700 a month. Having more choices means more Filipinos can pick the internet service that fits their budget and lifestyle.

PLDT’s John Y. Palanca shares that this plan supports Filipinos’ hustle culture. From online jobs to home businesses, stable internet helps families find more ways to earn and stay connected.
