Riot Games PH Extends Wild Rounds: Pilipinas Open 2026 Registration, Offers ₱1 Million Prize Pool
The opportunity to compete in one of the biggest Wild Rift tournaments in the Philippines just got a little longer.
Riot Games Philippines has announced that registration for the third season of Wild Rounds: Pilipinas Open 2026 has been extended until June 2 at 12:00 noon. The extension gives more aspiring teams across the country a chance to enter the nationwide competition and fight for a share of the tournament's massive ₱1 million prize pool.
This year's edition is shaping up to be the biggest yet. The champion team will receive ₱500,000, while the second and third-place finishers will take home ₱250,000 and ₱125,000, respectively. More importantly, the best teams will earn the opportunity to represent the Philippines at SMASH 2026, Riot Games' regional Wild Rift community event set to take place in South Korea this November.
Wild Rounds: Pilipinas Open continues Riot Games' effort to grow the local Wild Rift scene by giving grassroots players a platform to compete and showcase their skills. The tournament focuses on community participation, local talent development, and creating memorable moments for Filipino fans.
According to Riot Games Philippines, the goal is to make competitive Wild Rift more accessible while strengthening the local gaming community through events and opportunities that bring players together.
The tournament will be played in two nationwide splits. Split 1 begins on June 4 and runs until July 12. Participating teams will be grouped into brackets that will be announced through Wild Rift's official social media channels.
Group stage matches will take place across several weekends in June and July. The top-performing teams from each group will advance to the playoff qualifiers scheduled from July 10 to 12. The best four teams from those qualifiers will secure spots in the Community Playoffs later this September, while the remaining teams will get another chance through Split 2.
Registration for Split 2 opens from July 13 to August 2. Qualifiers and group stage matches will follow throughout August, leading up to the Road to SMASH Playoffs from September 25 to 27. The top eight teams will battle for the coveted slots that will send Philippine representatives to South Korea.
Beyond the main tournament, Riot Games is also preparing a variety of Wild Rift community activities, including influencer tournaments, creator collaborations, and fan-focused events. These initiatives aim to give players and supporters more ways to connect with the growing Wild Rift community throughout the year.
With the registration deadline fast approaching, interested teams only have a short window left to secure their spot and begin their journey toward SMASH 2026.
